(More customer reviews)I was pleasantly surprised that the material was nice and heavy duty-thick, warm and cozy for cold weather. I got it for my ten year old-he's 5'2" and medium built. His waist area is a typical kid's size and the drawstrings on the pants allowed me to pull it snug. It wasn't bulky at the waist after I pulled the drawstrings snug either. The lenght was great when wearing a sneakers, a tad long without any shoes though, but I don't mind, because my kids grow like weeds! Also, the groin area was roomy enough to be active without looking too vulgar or silly. My son loves it, he says it looks cool and feels really comfortable.
It also didn't shrink in the wash (knowing my laundry skills, I should say "not yet" anyhow). I'm very pleased with the purchase, it seems to be able to hold up for one kid to the next-I love hand me downs!!
